Heather Stone, Member
My family is the typical Alaskan family. We have several elders, lots of kids, and a few precious babies. We live off the land as much as possible. The freezer is always full of berries, moose, caribou, bear and fish. My family’s dream was always to live in Seward. Mom was raised here and it was in her blood. She passed it down to us and now our children and granchildren are part of Seward and the Qutekcak Tribe. How proud my grandmother and great grandmother would have been to know that the culture is still alive.
